Dumbreck Outdoor Playbarn is a real barn

in a stable yard with miniature Shetland ponies.

 

This is a place where urban kids can explore, invent and get dirty, and where much-loved toys get to go on big outdoor adventures.

Outdoor play is essential for children. Not only does it improve physical health, resilience is developed through taking and managing risks, self-esteem and confidence are increased through free play and problem solving, and being closer to nature calms children and improves wellbeing.
